Route 666

They gave me a theme of ‘Route 66’ and I know it’s a tired cliched joke but i had two hours so, that’s what I could do. Not happy with the mix at all and because of time reasons I just plugged an sm58 into the interface and went to town. It’s over on the Spicy-Punk page as ‘rt666’.

In other news, I am working on a little short for a Christmas special. Let’s see if I can actually finish it by Christmas…

Ukulele

We had a theme of The Last Dandelion but I decided to up the ante by recording everything through the ukalele ukelele ukalale… the uke that Special K got me for Christmas. It’s over on the Experimental page though I want to put it in ‘garbage’.

Edit: I should also note that I’ve added Special K’s rendition of “All I Want for XXXmas” to the Christmas page.

Garbage

I couldn’t be arsed to go dig through old garbage to put tracks in that section but this week I managed to completely churn milk into butt. Ostensibly vocaloid, I even feel guilty for associating Gumi and CyberDiva’s names with the track. Heck, I’m not even going to link to it here. If you’re that curious (and God bless you if you are) you can find it in the ‘Garbage’ genre.

In other news, I hope you guys are are having yourselves a merry little Christmas. I’ve got a party coming up and it will be the smaller version of the live band (The Incontinental Breakfast) doing some weirdness with guitars and drum machines and maybe a little karaoke.

Back to my old ways

Hope everyone had a Happy Thanksgiving! I had a few weeks of busy sundays as is generally the case for me this time of year. No, I haven’t thought about doing a Christmas special. Yes, I know that’s behind schedule. Maybe I’ll start looking into these “shorts” all the kids are into.

Anyway, we got a theme of “Eye of the Beholder” and I was trying to write a song about someone continue to find their wife beautiful as they get older. I ended up writing a song about necrophilia instead. I swear that I started with the best of intentions. Either way, it went into Punk.
