I’ve been flummoxed with making what I want to do with the puppet gang actually work. So I decided to belay that and go back to generating images to fit to the music for a video. And I got stuck there as well. I got a lot of cleaning done and have been behaving socially and checking out the local music scene.

These week’s theme was “Flutter” and I’m quite pleased with the lyrics I wrote for this one.

Obviously, that means it’s over in Spicy Punk.

I didn’t finish the video I was working on for this week because i think part of me knows the concept won’t work. But I got a new vocaloid track!! It’s over where you’d expect. The theme was ‘Lock Pick’ and, to be honest, it really belongs in Spicy Punk.

My timing is a bit (ahem) loose this week. We had a theme of The Messenger, you can find it over in Punk.

People have implied that the new song might have some kind of double meaning. I have no idea what they’re talking about. It’s just about a hamster that wants energy independence.

I missed putting out a video this week because I’ve got a bunch of short scripts I’m working on. The plan is to get a pile of those out and then film them at the same time. For 2HTS, the theme this week was ‘barefoot’ so I went with Vocaloid again.

In other news I upgraded the mixer on the PowerTable 9k and recorded my first “song” using that and a mic. I normally write songs in two hours. This took months. And the song isn’t very good. And it only uses the 404mkII. But it’s a start!!! Unlike most 2HTS stuff, this is something i’ll need to keep practicing.
