So that means i did weird noisy stuff with amp sims and drum machines and vocaloid because it’s just too dang hot and it’s too dang noisy. I ought to have put it in experimental but i put the track in vocaloid. The theme was ‘The Sage’.

I had to get back to basics for a bit. The theme was Eject and I wrote a fun little ditty. I want to remix it just to make the intro a filter sweep but I didn’t have time to learn how to do that. It’s over in punk.

The theme for the fifth 2HTS was ‘Space’ and I wrote a song about a doomed ship carrying the last of mankind. Because I’m cheery like that. I decided to replace my crappy vocals with vocaloid, I don’t know if I had a cold or if that old setup I had where I was recording the vocals in the bathroom made them such garbage but it ruined an otherwise ok song. I did some other remixing and remastering because, as one might imagine, my level of prowess some 470 weeks ago was not quite where it is today. Also I have better plugins now. I almost put it in Shoegaze but vocaloid fans can be purists so best to keep it separate for now. It’s over on the Vocaloid Page, theme was ‘Taxi’.

So I’ve cloned my voice on ElevenLabs AI, and I have GPT-4, so I decided to tell the latter about my day and ask it to chronicle the events in the manner of a 19th writer, then I fed that into the voice clone and added some DEXED magic underneath. I’m not even going to bother putting this in ‘Experimental’ because it’s too weird to go mingling with the music. I don’t know if I’ll continue making them, it puts a bit of a spotlight on how little I do besides work and take care of my cats.
